An institution, a senior high school and a boarding school.

An educational team that rallies around a strong educational project.

Saint Dominique is a private school, under contract with the French state. It includes over 2200 students from the 1st year of kindergarten to 12th grade and hosts up to 75 borders.

Saint-Dominique was founded in 1862 by a group of Dominican nuns. The first girls being taught and trained to pass the French Baccalauréat examinations were students at Saint Dominique.

The campus covers more than 16 000 m2 (sq.m) in an exceptional environment only a few miles away from Paris Arch of Triumph. The original building, a castle, was raised between 1784 and 1804. This building has been listed in the French General Inventory of France’s Cultural Patrimony since 1993.

In addition to providing a unique and excellent education, the staff is dedicated to helping students develop their soft skills. We shape respectful and responsible citizens.

EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLES

Saint Dominique’s educational principles rest on 3 pillars: AWAKENING, RESPONSIBILITY, TRANSMISSION so as to raise every student with indulgence and generosity, and help them meet the highest standards.

  •   AWAKENING

We welcome, support and guide every student in their own development. Awakening each of them to hope, joy and charity.

  •   RESPONSIBILITY

We lift every student up, by understanding their talents and by encouraging them to become charitable citizens.

  •  TRANSMISSION

We teach with pedagogical innovations. We constantly explore the best practices to enable every student to be the happiest and most fulfilled.

Saint-Dominique thrives to take every student to their best level, to develop their abilities and become responsible men and women.

DEVELOPING TALENTS

Students are led to think about their future. We make sure, together with our staff and their parents, that their searches are thoughtful, intentional and fit-centered. They acknowledge where their strengths and interests intersect. Eventually they are taught to be aware of their aptitude and natural abilities.

 INNOVATION

At the heart of our high school, we have a demanding curriculum and high standards. We develop adaptability among our students through hybrid and innovative education. Whether traditional (lectures, weekly assignments, oral exams) or digital (collaborative work), Saint Dominique’s education is known for its innovative spirit. We believe every student is able to access the most rigorous colleges and universities. Our students graduate from a great diversity of institutions.

PASTORAL PROGRAM

To encourage our students to go beyond the academic standards, we have built a dynamic and committed pastoral program through great projects. They range from actions (fundraising, soup kitchen) to discussions about the place of God in one’s life. Students build a spirituality following the steps of Saint Dominique that emphasises on learning and charity.
